Every now and then you hear someone wonder how it would be if every trick in a skateboard contest was judged the same. That's what I'm trying to see with this nerdy Trick for Trick skateboard scoring system. Today we're going to see how results at Tampa Pro would have been different.

Grind for Life at Zephyrhills Presented by adidas

The first stop of the Grind for Life Series Presented by adidas just went down at the new Zephyrhills Skatepark in Florida. Grind for Life is a series of all ages and skills skateboarding contests with both bowl and street divisions. The year ends in December with the Grind for Life Annual Awards at The Boardr HQ.

An Innovative and Experimental Trick for Trick Skateboard Scoring System Demonstration

What I’m showing you today is a new technology I developed for scoring a skateboard contest. Right now, skateboard judging is 100% subjective. I want an option that makes it more objective, easier for a non-expert audience to understand, has more accountability, and of course is more fair to the skaters.

The Boardr BBQ at the Dream Driveway

We can't make this a wide open public event since it's Ryan's house, but we do have a few select people over during the big Tampa Am weekend to kick it off with some food, drink, and shred at the #DreamDriveway. This year, we put up some of Jorge's year end bonus money for certain tricks, the biggest being $500 for a no grab ollie over the whole quarterpipe. It was handled! Wow, thanks everyone in town for stopping by.

Texas Skate Jam

The #BoardrBoys were in Houston this weekend donating event organization services to the annual Texas Skate Jam benefiting Make-A-Wish. This is the longest running charity event in skateboarding that's on track to raise a million dollars total.

Today was like your average day in #BoardrBoys life, but multiplied by 10. We had two events to run. First was Joey Brezinski's Wheelie Dope at the Courthouse followed by the adidas Skate Copa Global Finals at The Berrics where 10 teams from around the world were in town for the big shindig. Following that, A$AP Ferg shut it down. That was one damn fine skateboard day.

Wheelie Dope Presented by Andale

The stage was set, literally, for a mindblowing balancing act to go down, and down it went. Wheelie Dope at the Courthouse Stage was shocking in both what dudes could do up the stage and what they could follow it up with on two wheels across and exiting the stage. Thanks Andale and Joey Brezinski for having The Boardr run the show.
adidas Skate Copa Global Finals at The Berrics

The second year of adidas Skate Copa just wrapped up, this year with five extra international stops making 10 total shop teams that all came to Los Angeles for the Global Finals at The Berrics. 3rd Lair destroyed it this year. After that amazing day of ripping skating, A$AP Ferg came and did a show that blew everyone away before calling it a night.
