The #BoardrBus Road to X Games for The Boardr Am Series Finals

The morning after the last stop in The Boardr Am Series at Tampa, we threw Marcos Montoya in the #BoardrBus and headed to Texas. Marcos won it in Tampa and was the last one from the season to get into the Finals. Staff photographer Chaz has a few snaps here from the trip.

I talked Trap Nate into getting up here but I couldn't talk him into doing a trick.
Jake was a little itchy after all the falls it took to get this but he eventually got it.

X Games 2014 Course and Arrival in Austin

On Sunday after adidas Skate Copa ATL, we drove straight from Atlanta to Austin where we arrived at around midnight to get to work on X Games Austin this week. I've got a few photos of the course and our short night out last night in downtown Austin. It's going to be a week of ripping rolling and top quality chill time in this fun city and skateboard shindig that includes a show with Kanye, Mac Miller, The Flaming Lips, and more. I hope you caught all that on ESPN for the Street Finals for both men and women. It was a fun and ripping afternoon of skateboarding here in Austin, Texas. After Grant Taylor skipped town and gave up his spot in the cut to Alec Majerus who had just missed it yesterday, I was certain he was going to take it today. Then Nyjah came with new tricks and of course his usual bag of destruction. Get the full week's results here. Congrats Nyjah, Lacey, and Pedro for gold in Street and Park this year.

Check the segment on ABC where Clements and Jorge break it down for you on how this year's six stops all led to the Finals this weekend at X Games. Porpe's national TV debut! He officially goes by Jorge, Latin pronunciation for the boob tube. He's always gonna be Porpe in the homie circle. Don't forget the little guys, Jorge!

The second stop of the year for The Boardr Am that leads to Am Getting Paid for the Finals in Montreal is in the books. Congrats to Ke'Chaud Johnson at this stop. He's going all expenses paid to the Finals to join Jereme Knibbs who won the NYC stop.

Stop 2 of 3 for The Boardr Am is in the books where Lucas Rabelo ended up in the top spot here at Huntington Beach. Next up is San Diego before we all head to the Season Finals at Am Getting Paid in Montreal where a $20,000 purse is on the on the line.
