We got a late start, so our first stop was a late night truck stop dinner.
Wonder what he will get? At this truck stop? Maybe a racoon claw with a side of armadillo tail.
Casey has been on the road so long he has started to learn some tricks with the jump rope.
Getting out the RV to this sight is always a pleasure.
Then we got the boot.
I went with Pop Its.
Sometimes an omelet turns into an egg burrito on the road.
It was a little rainy on Friday.

It was a beautiful day to be both a skate rat and skate nerd today in the City of Lakeland for Go Skateboarding Day. The Smithsonian, Polk Museum of Art, and IASC teamed up for the Innoskate program and taught us all new things, regardless of your new or seasoned veteran status as a lifelong skateboarder. This one hit fairly close to home for me. I've been both a computer and skateboard nerd my whole life. Recently, Rodney Mullen has immersed himself in the world of Linux, a computer operating system made by this dude Linus who I would imagine now can kickflip like everyone else. Anyway, Rodney was recently written about in this Wired article where he goes on about the similarities between banging your head on a computer keyboard like I do all day and perfecting skateboarding stunts.
A Florida Road Trip to the East Coast

This past weekend, Porpe, Clem, and I took a road trip to the East Coast of Florida to bring Sean Malto, Matt Miller, Brad Cromer, and Steve-O to surprise our friend Jacob at his bar mitzvah. We skated, hung out at the party, and got some other business done while we were in town. Thanks Jacob and family for having us as part of your weekend. We had a great time. Maybe The Boardr should start doing celebrity birthday parties, too? I've got a camera dump here.
The #BoardrBus Road to X Games for The Boardr Am Series Finals

The morning after the last stop in The Boardr Am Series at Tampa, we threw Marcos Montoya in the #BoardrBus and headed to Texas. Marcos won it in Tampa and was the last one from the season to get into the Finals. Staff photographer Chaz has a few snaps here from the trip.
