I've got some photos and HiDefJoe has the video. The skateboarding at last weekend's New Smyrna Beach stop of the GFL Series was all over the spectrum of different types and ages of skateboarding as usual, but this time, the bowl portion was most memorable. The street course there is not the best in the world, but just as skateboarders do, you make the best of what you've got. There were parent/child combos, toddlers, teens, girls, grown ass men, and extra grown 50+ men all ripping all day. Thanks to everyone that made it out to another one and to our sponsors for helping us make the event happen: Grind for Life, AYC, MovieTickets.com, Z-Flex, Zumiez, Red Bull, Indy and all the other support you see at TheBoardr.com/GFL.
What is this circus act called again? The flamingo, right? Howie Gordon was at Woodward recently and shooting photos, probably throwing this move down on every bank. Thanks Woodward, another backer of the GFL series.
Profile: Howie GordonAny time you see a finger flip lein to tail in a street contest, you know the course is not your modern traditional street setup. Dillon McGregor has an evil one for you.
Profile: Dillon McGregorOmar Delgado making his son proud with a two handed boneless to second place in the old guy Street Division. There were five dudes over the age of 40 in the 30 and Up Street Contest. You do not have age as an excuse to not be out here with us having a good time at a friendly competition like this.
Profile: Omar DelgadoWhen you get old, you start acting like a kid again. That applies to skateboarding, too. Tary Valle takes the kid favorite flyout to frontside 360. He runs the park here and hooked us up with use of the place and hijacking of his electricity. Thanks Tary!
Profile: Tary ValleNow that I have a kid, things like this are straight up OMG cute overdose for me. I even shot a sequence of it! This is Tyler Loftus with help from pops on getting out of the bowl in the 9 and Under Division.

Profile: Dalton WilliamsWhen the Bowl Sponsored Division started, the level of skating quickly went through the roof. Nick Wallace came in hot with a varial flip Indy.
Profile: Nick WallaceWow, Nick Wallace also has the Chris Miller in his run, the bluntslide in the deep end.
Profile: Nick WallaceCheck the sequence to see how long Drew Hoffman's crazy roll-in smith grind is.
Profile: Drew HoffmanTyler Coffman's scary backside nosegrind in the deep end shut it down for the Bowl Sponsored Division.
Profile: Tyler CoffmanBody's here to announce. Porpe is in Austin at another event, but we found him in spirit on these skatable dolphins in downtown Daytona.
Profile: Scotty Conley aka The BodyEven if you're just judging like Jereme Knibbs here, you can use a stretch from Danny to keep you loose for the day. Thanks Danny for hooking it up all day for everyone.
Profile: Danny DuncanHiDefJoe is on it for the day, slightly confused about which bonelesses to put in the video.
Profile: Joe Pelham aka HiDefJoeClem and Body are on the mic while Justin, Aaron, and Jereme are on numbers duty with judging.
Profile: Jereme KnibbsPause for a gear check with Nate Ilardi. Check out his footage of his brother Jake here.
Nick Wallace floats a nice frontside ollie on the 'street' course that's real friendly towards ATV's like Nick.
Profile: Nick WallaceThese ladies are here babysitting for Dalton Williams and ended up hanging out all day watching the Contest. I hope your babysitter brings you to the good stuff like skateboard contests instead of the boring zoo or park.
Profile: Dalton WilliamsTony Walsh is quoted as saying, 'Bitch, I can still ollie' in a conversation about his street skills. He's killing it in the bowl.

Profile: Justin CruceDave and Emily Headson are the father and daughter skateboard team that are both ripping in their own divisions.
Profile: Dave HeadsonBrandon's father is passing down the boneless ways and style to him. Not bad boost for a 7-year-old. Now that I have a kid, I tend to take a lot more photos and sequences of these tykes.
Profile: Brandon DelgadoTyler Kirshenbaum's varial heel at just 8-years-old puts him in first place for the 9 and Under Street division. Crazy how little kids these days have some of the hardest flip tricks. Tyler will grow into his and be doing them like a grown man soon.
Profile: Tyler KirshenbaumAdam Tyler won the Street 13 to 15 Division with nicely dipped back Smiths like this one here.
Profile: Adam TylerI think YouTube has more influence on kids' trick selection these days than the pros in skateboarding. Ryan Sullivan probably discovered the casper flip that way.
Profile: Ryan SullivanGrace Marhoeffer is just 10-years-old and doing a trick generally known to be only in the bag of 50+ year old men. All the streams in skateboarding are crossing over and it's pretty amazing to watch. It was also nice to see 10 or more girls out there skating all day.
