Young buck Myles Strampello was killing it all day. Rumor has it that he's taking this nose grind to the Hollywood 16 soon.
Luke Kahler, Nash Barfield, and Santo Diaz took home the top 3 spots for Street 9 and Under.
Logan Cogswell, Drew Beilfuss, and Stone Sullivan took home the top 3 spots for Street 13 to 15.

The judging panel was all start with Neal Hendrix, Jason Rothmeyer, and Jack Fardell, who recently had an interesting conversation with us at a Vans Park Series about judging. Ryan invited him to be on the staff for a day and here you have it.
Most people use this space as run up for the big set but Mike Rogers found a better use for it.
Jake Yanko, Akeem Haynes, and Nelson Hawkins took home the top 3 spots for Street 16 to 29.
Carlos Ortiz, Mike Rogers, and Kevin Apana took home the top 3 spots for Street 30 and Up.
Myles Strampello, Daniel Yeager, and Dylan Sullivan took home the top 3 spots for Street Sponsored.
Told you all those tickets would pay off.

The Grind for Life Series is a national, all ages and skills series benefiting the Grind for Life Organization, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that assists cancer patients with travel expenses. This year's first stop was in New Smyrna, Florida where 144 entries went down in 14 divisions in bowl and street skateboarding.

Marinela Demos on the West Coast

As you know, Marinela has been backing what we're up to in skateboarding here for a couple years now. They helped us expand the Grind for Life Series across the country this year with two new stops in Californa. While we were out there, we did some demos at a couple stores with Ish and Dilo out there shredding for the locals in between snack sampling.

We learned something at this stop: skateboard contests on a Tuesday aren't going to be super packed. We figured in Souther California when schools out, Tuesday would be like a Saturday, but it wasn't. Oh well, there was still a good crew of you that came to have a good time and that still went down.
