The Grind for Life Series expands across the country this year. Houston at Southside was our first stop ever in Texas. Chaz and Nate got the recap in photos and video below. Check GFLSeries.com for all the details and schedule for the rest of the year.

Frankie Tambrella, Kaleb Tittelbach, and Riley Schloesser took home the top 3 spots for Street 9 and Under.
Jay Corleone, Carlos Puigdollers, and Griffin Landry took home the top 3 for Street 10 to 12.
Hunter Harlan, Hayden Harlan, and Brooks Wood took home the top 3 spots for Street 13 to 15.
We had people signing up all day. You can register online ahead of time to save some time, too.
Garrett Simich, Brandon D Baker, and Joseph Reed took home the top 3 spots for Street 16 to 29.
Mike Rogers, Shawn Sink, and Dustin Nichols took home the top 3 spots for Street 30 and Up.
Nathan Pacheco, Jonathan Bastian, and Jordan Miles took home the top 3 spots for Street Sponsored.

Miguel Castillo, Austin Quiroga, and Tyler Watts, took home the top three spots for Bowl Intermediate.
Jordan Santana, Raina Saenz, and Anna-Claire Davidson took home the top three spots for Bowl Girls.
Ryan Crane, Sejo Alvarez, and Mike Rogers took home the top three spots for Bowl Masters.
Zach Castillo, Martin HollyWood Martinez, and Max Peterson took home the top three spots for Bowl Sponsored.

The Grind for Life Series is a national series of contests for all ages and skills levels in both street and bowl. This was the fourth stop of the year at Fort Lauderdale. Next one is June 10 in Knoxville, Tennessee.

The Grind for Life Series is a national, all ages and skills series benefiting the Grind for Life Organization, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that assists cancer patients with travel expenses. This year's first stop was in New Smyrna, Florida where 144 entries went down in 14 divisions in bowl and street skateboarding.

As you know, Marinela has been backing what we're up to in skateboarding here for a couple years now. They helped us expand the Grind for Life Series across the country this year with two new stops in Californa. While we were out there, we did some demos at a couple stores with Ish and Dilo out there shredding for the locals in between snack sampling.

We learned something at this stop: skateboard contests on a Tuesday aren't going to be super packed. We figured in Souther California when schools out, Tuesday would be like a Saturday, but it wasn't. Oh well, there was still a good crew of you that came to have a good time and that still went down.
