Grind for Life Series Presented by Marinela at Knoxville

Stop number five is in the books for the 2017 season of Grind for Life. Next up is Houston this weekend! The Boardr Bus is driving straight from there to Texas as we speak. Between running all these skateboarding shindigs like The Boardr Am and Grind for Life Series, we have some downtime during the week while the Boardr Bus drives across the country. Nate has a bit of nature in Knoxville and some street skating we got in here, too.

Good morning, Knoxville.
It was a hot one today. Most people found some shade, but some braved the sunny bleachers.
Gabriel Vigliotti, Beck Erskine, and Leif Trasser took home the top 3 for Street 10 to 12.
Felix Meyers, Dayshaun Bunch, and Caden Matthew took home the top 3 spots for Street 13 to 15.
Josiah Jones, Mac Lowry, and Elijah Wolcott took home the top 3 spots for Street 9 and Under.
We finally got Paul his Host With the Most Award from 2016. He might take it home this year, too.

The Grind for Life Series is a national series of contests for all ages and skills levels in both street and bowl. This was the fourth stop of the year at Fort Lauderdale. Next one is June 10 in Knoxville, Tennessee.

The Grind for Life Series is a national, all ages and skills series benefiting the Grind for Life Organization, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that assists cancer patients with travel expenses. This year's first stop was in New Smyrna, Florida where 144 entries went down in 14 divisions in bowl and street skateboarding.

The Grind for Life Series expands across the country this year. Houston at Southside was our first stop ever in Texas. Chaz and Nate got the recap in photos and video below.
Marinela Demos on the West Coast

As you know, Marinela has been backing what we're up to in skateboarding here for a couple years now. They helped us expand the Grind for Life Series across the country this year with two new stops in Californa. While we were out there, we did some demos at a couple stores with Ish and Dilo out there shredding for the locals in between snack sampling.
