The long and downhill slope to Ryan's front doorstep is a driveway lined with skate stuff that we started referring to as the Dream Driveway. Yesterday there was a session with a few Tampa locals where I pointed digital devices to capture these images.

I feel like a broken record talking about how much I’ve traveled this summer, but damn it’s nice to be home for a bit. There were a few times this year that the coping on the Dream Driveway got a little rusty. So no better way to grind that surface rust right off than to have a few friends over. One of my childhood buddies, James Luedde, is a photographer, and kept asking to shoot some pics, so we hooked it up. Keep in mind that this is his first time ever shooting skating. Not bad.

Today was a bit of prep work for a new addition to the Dream Driveway. It's simply moving rocks and dirt from point a to point b for now, like a bunch of worker ants.

Before construction, there must be destruction. After closing on our building last week, we're making progress on The Boardr Headquarters as you can see in these photos by Justin Ryan.

I've got a few more construction photos and an exciting announcement. We have a toilet!!! An epic milestone at The Boardr Headquarters. It's just a week away before we flip the switch on our little online shop that could. As I've mentioned, we're starting out small and growing slow.

Before we can build the skate stuff, we have to get the bill paying stuff done. That would be retail and office space. I can't wait to get started back in retail and customer service again. We'll be open for online orders in just a few weeks!

Everyone's on manual labor while I'm on digital labor. We're trying to get the basics set up for online retail doors opening up on February 1. I have a few more photos dumped from my camera here for you. Thanks for following along with our adventure to build something in skateboarding from the ground up.

Every year before Tampa Pro, we invite our friends in town to hang out by the river, push through the Dream Driveway, and dig in on Porpe's BBQ. Thanks to everyone that came by. We're looking forward to hanging out for the weekend and watching some great skating with no work to do for a change.

Every year at this private event, we have industry friends over for a session in the Dream Driveway before things kick off with Tampa's big weekend of Tampa Pro. Thanks to everyone that stopped by.
