Congrats to 3rd Lair for winning it in the final bracket today. They're going all expenses paid to The Berrics for the Finals. Our photos and video recap is below.

We had some time to push around the city of Chicago before getting to work on adidas Skate Copa this weekend. I think they call it the murder capital because of the traffic. Other than that, this town is a great one. Our adventure told through snapshots as usual is below.

The first thing you see when you land at the airport are rows and rows of these fun structures. They're standing by with cuffs waiting if you mess with those skate stoppers, though.

Some early morning recreational activity before hitting the wood and wheels. HiDefJoe, Scotty, and I flew out at 5:30am Tampa time and landed in Chicago before most people go to work in the morning.

At this hotel we're in, you either get a candy ring or a cup of coffee for morning potlock.

We're off on a fun push through the city on our own with no locals to guide us. Sometimes it turns out really fun that way.

There's a USA soccer game today and downtown Chicago is looking crazy American right now. Well, so is Porpe.

Every big city has one of these.

The fog here is erie in the mornings then clears to low hanging clouds that cover up the tops of the buildings.

How can you not go to this thing in Chicago?

Underneath is good and trippy.

A quick Truffle Shuffle in the funhouse mirror and we're out.

The Married with Children fountain is here. Ask Body about his first try 13 stair across and down hubba 50-50 that went undocumented here.

Pause for a quick Porpe carve.

Body's got a twister for the Subway entrance.

HiDefJoe goes up and around the Super Mario Brothers pipe.

Porpe's chill cam points up like a tourist.

Damn, we're all running the same foot. Thanks adidas!

The fire hydrants are all pint sized like this here. Porpe has a switch ollie for America over this one.

Chicago may be the only city where Body is snapping them over the hydrants on every corner.

Porpe's about to bust up these kids' playground.

Porpe wallrides right into the Farmer's Market.

Serious skate stoppers dropped in at this spot.

A mid-day skate break at a river spot with buckets of sauce.

Body solicits reactions from passerby cruise patrons. That hairy nipple provides hours of entertainment like this.

This ledge has been jigsaw puzzled a bit. Interesting how some of the blocks are backwards and out of place.

One of the best things about a new city is pushing through the streets.

Hotel security here asked us if we're with Red Bull while skating this spot. You tell them what they want to hear and you can get a trick in like HiDefJoe here.

With there being no run-up on this manageable sized rail for an old guy, it's a good excuse to go caveman.

The afternoon fog is coming in along with a steep drop in temperatures.

You know the story behind this photo if you're watching our Story on The Boardr Snap Chat. Check the video on our Instagram, too.

Porpe didn't have time to make this frontside noseslide before we got the boot because, according to those hood women, we are black.

You spend a lot of time looking up here.

We made it to the seawall! Everyone's got to get a carve. Clements goes slash style over the 'safe' part.

Profile: Ryan Clements

If you fall in this, it's probably best to just be left here. I'd want someone to just throw in a tombstone after me and call it a life. Done.

I have to get my own safety carve in at the seawall.

Ryan's got a frontside one. That fog to nowhere is insane.

HiDefJoe takes a break from goalie duty for a backside one into the mist.

Porpe went over that thing, came out with speed, separated from his board towards the edge, and lost his board when HiDefJoe had to make the fast decision to either save his board or save Porpe from going in. Good call on saving Porpe.

Profile: Jorge Angel aka Porpe

I wonder how many boards are in that water with Porpe's?

Now we're at Southside hoping the locals accept us into their playground.

The basic backside powerslide is something I never really mastered.

Now it's time to get to work. When you have to wake up and be at work at 6am, there's no time for getting dressed.

This thing is apparently a relic from a recent rollerblade contest. Have you been skating long enough to ever have had your trucks hit PVC?

Thanks for lurking, ya'll.

Cotie Robinson is here from Louisville with Galaxie on a backside tailslide for Team Handsome flow.

Jonathon Reese is front feebling straight to The Berrics with 3rd Lair.

Joe Lanenga was the old guy on Premier but contributing to the scoreboard with young guy tricks.

It's always nice to see some girls at the skateboard shindig mixed into the crowd. Thanks for coming, ladies.

The commentary was from Body and Tim was super as usual. Thanks for the laughs. Check our Story on Snap Chat for some samples.

Watch for Nestor Judkins and Kevin Lowry on The Berrics edits they're doing that document the weekend in Chicago.

Pause for a gear check with Adam Kearley, your sound server for the day.

I have a bike but I don't know anything about them and have only ridden my own. I have to ask other people if certain bikes are cool or not. This is cool, right? I don't know, but I want to ride it. I feel like I'm the longboarder of motorcycle riders.

Wow, Cody Davis did this noseslide multiple times in the Finals brackets. In the last one, he did a frontside 50-50 on the other side.

Mark from 3rd Lair knows how to enjoy a skateboard shindig.

Edgar Armenta is kickflipping out of this front board like Chris Haslam.

Mark Davenport is one of the special awards at this stop. Burnouts Rule!

Congrats again to the 3rd Lair crew.

Premier made it to the last bracket to get 2nd today. Thanks again to everyone that was in this stop at adidas Skate Copa.
