The first stop of The Boardr Am for 2017 is in the books with Jereme Knibbs taking first at this one with one of his best looking park tricks: a frontside half Cab flip into the quarter. Check that along with his full run that did it including highlights of the best of the day from our filmer, Trap Nate. The Boardr staff Photographer Chaz Miley also has some flicks from the day.

Jiro Platt was one of the youngest dudes out today and of course was also the first dude at LES.
It was rad to see a few girls in the Contest. Leah Hoptak was one of them ripping around in NYC.
You can catch Shawn Butler and his beautiful backside flip in Montreal, Canada in a few months for Am Getting Paid. He will be getting an all expense paid trip, thanks to the Harold Hunter Foundation, for being the top ranking NYC skater.
NYC rolls deep.

Congrats Yoshi Tanenbaum for winning the NYC stop of The Boardr Am today. Yoshi joins Jon Cosentino (LA), Jagger Eaton (Houston), Jamie Foy (Tampa), and Dustin Blauvelt (Detroit) as the fifth person to shred their way into a spot at The Boardr Am Series Finals on the course at @XGames Austin this summer. The next stop is Las Vegas for the last chance for you to get your spot and be the first amateur skateboarding holding an X Games Gold Medal when the dust settles in June. Thanks everyone who skated today. See you there next year.

The second stop of the year for The Boardr Am that leads to Am Getting Paid for the Finals in Montreal is in the books. Congrats to Ke'Chaud Johnson at this stop. He's going all expenses paid to the Finals to join Jereme Knibbs who won the NYC stop.
