It's a full week of ripping skateboarding, top pros and ams, parties, and the nicest and most fun crew of people we get the pleasure of hanging out with in all our skateboarding travels every year. We'll be stacking all the coverage here as it comes through. Get full results from the weekend as they come in here.
Luan has been killing it at every spot of course. This switch heel is at the Copenhagen Skatepark.
The official shades of Copenhagen Open make you want to party. James, Gabe, and Mathieu need to judge The Boardr Am before partying, though.

Alex won The Boardr Am and gets a trip to X Games for The Boardr Am Finals in June 2016 in Austin, Texas. He's never been to Texas and is in for a fun week.
We have some time for a bit of tourist mission here. This lady asked if her baby could use a board. She's willing him to be goofy footed. That's what I do to my kid, too.
How does a classic Caddy like this end up here?
Keld took us to a new spot with a rare 'No Skateboarding' sign on it.
Another vert ramp bit the dust this year after the revamp at CPH Skatepark.
Back on a city lurk leisure mission, shooting photos with the chill cam. It's about 10:30pm and still light out as Jereme snaps off this little bank.
The crowd at the Bowl Jam was big and rowdy.
Following the Bowl Jam was a new and improved ring of fire.
Before work the next day, William filled us up at the local sushi joint. I need chicken, though.
Now we're at the first stop of three real street spots today, White Banks. It's crazy they didn't intend this spot for skateboarding.

Now we're at the SEB Bank spot, a big four where Arto is properly posted up in the safe spot.

It's a king sized big four with a bank to mellow it out a bit. Diego goes in with a kickflip.

The last stop for today is the Meat Packing district where Jason let us all know he's the curb cut champ.
Carlos had some crazy ones on this bench. This is a frontside 180 fakie 5-0 back to forward.

The Death Races at the park are always good entertainment. Wes and Marius drop in while hugged up.
Now we're at the Tivoli double set where no one was sure anything would go down. We were wrong to doubt. Alex frontside flipped it with ease.
Master Fatman kicked it off and DJ'd for us.
This is the entrance to Tivoli, the world's oldest amusement park.
Out front, these dudes are running the super Euro skateboard shoestring man purse carrier style.

Behind us is a nice scene.
We're about to hop on a boat ride to the next spot, but not before a fancy fill up with Rose. Wow, can this get any more amazing? Cheers, William. Thanks again for having us be a part of this week.

The only time it felt like uptight America is when the fire department showed up to put the fire out. They were super nice, though.

The first of four ripping days of bowl skateboarding and friendly faces here in Copenhagen is a wrap. Neal Hendrix is behind the shutter and HiDefJoe is on it for the video. They've got photos and an episode of On The Boardr to make you feel like you where right here with us if you aren't able to make it here. Today when we walked into this BMX bowl, we weren't sure what would be going down in there. It wasn't long before Raven Tershy, Ronnie Sandoval, Greyson Fletcher, and more were dropping jaws in that thing.

The only thing unmellow about the Pool Contest yesterday was the serious ripping going down. At 2pm when the Contest was supposed to start, neither skaters or crowd were on site. Then around 3pm, they all descended in mellow troves, Tuborgs and spliffs in hand. We made it through some Jams before the rain turned it into a big chillfest under the trees. After things got rained out on Sunday, we moved it all over to Copenhagen Skatepark and added a Vert Jam along with a tight squeeze for the crowd into the bowl there. Then followed the usual after-party until 6am. HiDefJoe's got a video recap and I've got a weekend camera dump below.

There aren't many events out there that remind me of how we used to run Tampa Pro. Copenhagen Pro is one of those. It's just loose and chill with ripping skating, raging nightlife, and big smile hospitality. I've got a bunch of photos and sequences as usual.

The good times continue this week at Copenhagen Pro where the Ring of Fire was set and the Street Qualifiers went down. If you weren't here, I got your back with photos.

The Finals at Copenhagen Pro are always some of the best skating you'll see all year. The mix of skaters that come to this contest is so diverse and unlike any other contest, which is why we started referring to it as the Tampa Pro of Europe years ago. I hope you where here, but if not, I've got a cell phone edit and photos for you.

This one is from a few days in Montreal to run Am Getting Paid and The Boardr Am where JS Lapierre won $10,000, a trip to The Boardr Am Finals at X Games, and a trip to South Africa for the Kimberley Diamond Cup Street Skateboarding World Championships.

Once again, it came down to the last runs in the Finals where Maurio McCoy was holding the lead. Jake Ilardi had the slight benefit of going last in the Finals from his clean sweep of the Semi-Finals and Qualifiers where he had just placed first in both. On Jake's third and final run, also the last run of the day, he put it down and edged out Maurio for the win at this stop.

This counts as work? Yep, one of the best skateboarding shindigs year after year is in Copenhagen, Denmark, and we're hyped to be back for another year helping to organize the chaos behind the scenes.

Years ago, we stopped putting the dates and schedule out to the public to help reduce the insane crowd size, which is too much for these intimate venues and street spots where it all goes down. Of course that doesn't work to well at the best skateboarding shindig in the history of skateboarding. Hope you had as good of a time as we did.
