Pat Stiener opens it up with a part in It's All That. Following is a good crew of current Tampa locals like Aaron Austin and former ones like Kevin Coakley with the list going on all the way down to our filmer HiDefJoe whose travel belly is snapping his boards. Even Alex Donahue in there with a trick?!? I feel like I live in a big ol' real city when I see video parts filmed in all the blocks surrounding my downtown neighborhood. Thanks for finishing up this project, Frank Branca, as well as shredding in there yourself.

I recently downloaded this app called Skate Spots. It lets you log spots by automatically getting the map location for you while you add all the extras like a photo, the type of spot, the bust factor, and any notes you want. I tested it out in my neighborhood where I live in Downtown Tampa. I'm lucky that I can push out my front door and find all these skateboarding spots withing a few blocks of each other, especially with them all being such a wide variety of skill level and style. Notice how I don't count the Bro Bowl as a skate spot...
Austin England, A Chat With a Talented Tampa Transplant

Austin England did the illustrations for The Boardr Store. He's yet another Tampa transplant that is getting a foothold in working in the skateboarding industry out in Los Angeles. Austin's artwork has always been some of our favorite among this great community of artists that skateboarding attracts. I asked him a few questions about his move to LA and how that's going. I had a nice responsible partying night at the Chronicles 2 Premiere that was a block from where I live in downtown Tampa. Someone should have given Donovon a mic while he heckled himself during his entire part from the back of the theater.

That Shaqueefa Mixtape Volume 2 premiere tonight made me straight up proud of my local skate scene and was the most live one I've ever been at. I'm a full generation older than all these dudes and I'm hyped to see they're keeping skateboarding raw like I knew it when I grew up in it.

Jereme Knibbs: Welcome to The Boardr Team

Today marks another milestone for us and the how hyped we are to announce our second team rider. We could not be any more proud of Jereme Knibbs for putting this Welcome to The Boardr Team part together. We've watched him grow up and I'm hyped to say he's been raised by modern day wolves, that being skateboarding, the real ones, and turned into one of everyone's favorite. We're nominating ourselves for another Oscar performance on this one, too. Welcome home, Jereme!
Frank's Film Reel on Ride

Frank has been a local filmer in Florida for as long as we can remember and one of the nicest dudes you'll ever meet. He recently completed a Film Reel with Ride that includes plenty of Tampa spots from the streets to the back yards. Frank's also going to be a dad real soon. Congrats in advance, Frank!
