Shaqueefa Mixtape Volume 2 Premiere in Tampa
Published 12/29/2013 by Rob Meronek
That Shaqueefa Mixtape Volume 2 premiere tonight made me straight up proud of my local skate scene and was the most live one I've ever been at. I'm a full generation older than all these dudes and I'm hyped to see they're keeping skateboarding raw like I knew it when I grew up in it. I know skateboarding's in a good place when I see something like that come together. All that corpo and commercial stuff that's such the norm with things today hasn't touched the basics of what I know skateboarding to be, especially the entrepreneurial spirit of it. Nice work, Buggica and crew. I snapped a few photos in there before my Houdini act out.

Jamie Foy in the Husky Rippers Club
12/19/2013
Wow, we knew Jamie Foy rips from watching him grow up at contests all these years, but this new part he just put out shows how he destroys it in the streets, too. Add him to the list of husky shredders. He's like a baby Mike Sinclair.
A Dream Driveway Session With Locals

The long and downhill slope to Ryan's front doorstep is a driveway lined with skate stuff that we started referring to as the Dream Driveway. Yesterday there was a session with a few Tampa locals where I pointed digital devices to capture these images.
Nike SB Chronicles 2 Premiere in Tampa

I had a nice responsible partying night at the Chronicles 2 Premiere that was a block from where I live in downtown Tampa. Someone should have given Donovon a mic while he heckled himself during his entire part from the back of the theater.

It's All That is Those Tampa Locals
10/15/2014
Pat Stiener opens it up with a part in It's All That. Following is a good crew of current Tampa locals like Aaron Austin and former ones like Kevin Coakley with the list going on all the way down to our filmer HiDefJoe whose travel belly is snapping his boards. Even Alex Donahue in there with a trick?!? I feel like I live in a big ol' real city when I see video parts filmed in all the blocks surrounding my downtown neighborhood. Thanks for finishing up this project, Frank Branca, as well as shredding in there yourself.
