The first stop of the Vans Pro Skate Park Series at Melbourne was a mindblowing display of park terrain skateboarding as expected. 12 of the 15 invited pros made it to Melbourne, allowing 8 challengers into the Semi-Finals to complete the field of 20.
After the dust settled, Chris Russell proved unstoppable, taking home $20,000 for the win at Melbourne.
In the Seasons Rankings, the top five Challengers after this stop are: Cory Juneau, Tom Schaar, Alex Sorgente, Keegan Palmer, and Brad McClain.
