Every year before Tampa Pro, we invite our friends in town to hang out by the river, push through the Dream Driveway, and dig in on Porpe's BBQ. Thanks to everyone that came by. We're looking forward to hanging out for the weekend and watching some great skating with no work to do for a change.

Finally Home - Dream Driveway Session

I feel like a broken record talking about how much I’ve traveled this summer, but damn it’s nice to be home for a bit. There were a few times this year that the coping on the Dream Driveway got a little rusty. So no better way to grind that surface rust right off than to have a few friends over. One of my childhood buddies, James Luedde, is a photographer, and kept asking to shoot some pics, so we hooked it up. Keep in mind that this is his first time ever shooting skating. Not bad.

The long and downhill slope to Ryan's front doorstep is a driveway lined with skate stuff that we started referring to as the Dream Driveway. Yesterday there was a session with a few Tampa locals where I pointed digital devices to capture these images.

We can't make this a wide open public event since it's Ryan's house, but we do have a few select people over during the big Tampa Am weekend to kick it off with some food, drink, and shred at the #DreamDriveway. This year, we put up some of Jorge's year end bonus money for certain tricks, the biggest being $500 for a no grab ollie over the whole quarterpipe. It was handled! Wow, thanks everyone in town for stopping by.
