The Boardr 2014 Year in Review

2014 was our first full year of being in business after we started this little skateboard gathering of a company in late 2013. HiDefJoe has the video recap and I've got a walk down short term memory lane here for 2014. What a year it was of whipping around the world for all these skateboard adventures from South Africa to Denmark to Canada to China to all over America. Thanks to everyone who was a part of it along the way. 2015 will be much of the same and more. See you around out there on the wood and wheels.

$2.4 Million Paid to Skateboarders in 2015: Statistics and Contest Earnings

Well it sure pays to be a contest skater these days. $2.4 million in prize money was paid out at skateboarding contests in 2015. We've got a summary of that and some other numbers from our mountain of skateboarding data here at The Boardr.

#BoardrBoys Episode 4: A Good Skateboarding Day in Los Angeles

Today was like your average day in #BoardrBoys life, but multiplied by 10. We had two events to run. First was Joey Brezinski's Wheelie Dope at the Courthouse followed by the adidas Skate Copa Global Finals at The Berrics where 10 teams from around the world were in town for the big shindig. Following that, A$AP Ferg shut it down. That was one damn fine skateboard day.

This one is from a few days in Montreal to run Am Getting Paid and The Boardr Am where JS Lapierre won $10,000, a trip to The Boardr Am Finals at X Games, and a trip to South Africa for the Kimberley Diamond Cup Street Skateboarding World Championships.

#BoardrBoys Episode 2: Wheelie Dope Planning, #DreamDriveway, Dew Tour LA

We're doing episodes of #BoardrBoys every couple weeks now highlighting the stuff we're doing in skateboarding and the things we are lucky enough to be a part of that make our jobs a damn good time. In this episode, we met Joey Brezinski at the LA Courthouse ledges to plan and prepare for Wheelie Dope, a manny contest coming up there on September 19. We were also in LA to help run the Dew Tour stop there. Finally, we had a good two week break at home in Tampa where it was a pool party in the #DreamDriveway.
