Welcome to The Boardr
8/1/2013
Well I need somewhere to put all this silly crap I like to do like foot fetish, Nerdsday Thursday, skate photos, silly videos, and other random banter. So, I started The Boardr today after my last day at Skatepark of Tampa. The Boardr will house all the stuff I love about skateboarding plus a new system I'm creating to help people simply and easily run skateboarding events with a digital, mobile scoring system. Shortly after August, it then evolved into a full blown skateboarding professional services company where I'm partnered up with Ryan Clements. Thanks for stopping by.
Brian Anderson Talks 3D
10/25/2013
For as long as I've been skateboarding, it has had such an entrepreneurial spirit. Everyone in skateboarding from young to old seems to have some attitude of 'do it yourself,' not just in creating skate spots, but in making a living, too.
Wisdom from Erik Ellington

I love a good skateboard bid'niss chat and what you go through when you're starting something new, mistakes you make, etc. Erik Ellington has a brief one on Baker.
Welcome Skateboards Proves Magic Beats Marketing in Mainstream Skateboarding
2/4/2014
Welcome Skateboards was started by Jason Celaya, Minister of Magic, and has managed to build up a pretty good following with their unique shapes and artwork. Jason's the skater behind it all. We're carrying Welcome in The Boardr Store, so I hit him up with a few bid'niss questions on his experience and thoughts regarding Welcome Skateboards.
A Few Questions with Cliche's Brand Manager, Al Boglio
2/11/2014
We would like to welcome Cliché to The Boardr Store. I had a bit of a skateboard business chat with Al Boglio who has been the Brand Manager at Cliche for the last 10 years. We talked about social media, the flow program, and the history of the company.
Working in the Skateboard Industry: Chinner Moved to South Africa
3/7/2014
There's a thousand different ways to either create or get a job for yourself in the skateboarding industry and I'm continuing these chats with people here and there on how they're making it happen. Our friend Chinner packed it up from California and moved to the other end of the world for a skateboarding job. He lives in South Africa! Crazy. He's doing local skate events and other things with the World Skateboarding organization. This weekend, he's using The Boardr Live. I caught up with him to discuss how it's going for him down there.
Welcome AYC to The Boardr Store, They Interviewed Us Instead
3/12/2014
This week we're welcoming Asphalt Yacht Club to The Boardr Store. Instead of me interviewing them, they flipped it around this time and interviewed me. We talked about skate business and retail being tough, times where my favorite shoes must be placed in my mouth due to loose lips on the keyboard, and all the nerdness I'm attracted to like stats and reports on skateboarding.

3/12/2014
That one site for the grown ups in the skateboard industry that reports on all things bid'niss has an interview with us where we discuss events, retail, our past, and our future with The Boardr. Thanks Shop-Eat-Surf for the chat.
