For as long as I've been skateboarding, it has had such an entrepreneurial spirit. Everyone in skateboarding from young to old seems to have some attitude of "do it yourself," not just in creating skate spots, but in making a living, too. Route One sat down with Brian Anderson to talk about 3D Skateboards and the process of starting it, including how he approached the crew at Girl. Jeff's a nice ass kid who has built up quite a following with his consistent video parts he has been posting to YouTube over the years and even got the attention of P-Rod who asked Nike SB to get him in Tampa Am. That's how he ended up skating in 2009, getting last place. Jeff has some great things to say about what he learned with his experience there and how he views his own versus other skateboarding.

Nike SB's App is Finally Out

I've been wanting a digital way to play a game of SKATE forever. I used to play with friends by uploading to Facebook years ago. Today, Nike SB's app was released that has exactly what I was looking for. I just downloaded it and got super excited to give it a try where I went straight to the front yard here in downtown Tampa to film a trick. I started a game and took some screen shots below. I think they got it right.
