The Boardr Am Series at New York City

The Boardr Am is a top international amateur skateboarding series. Winners at each stop are flown to the Finals at X Games Austin in June to meet other specially invited ams.

The Boardr Am is a top international amateur skateboarding series. Winners at each stop are flown to the Finals at X Games Austin in June to meet other specially invited ams. A one hour show on ESPN's World of X produced by The Boardr will document the skaters' stories of the road to Austin, Texas.

Location

LES Skate Park, 62 Pike Street New York, New York, 10002. This one is in conjunction with Harold Hunter Day.

Registration

We're limited to 100 entrants per stop. Register online now to save your spot. Refunds are completely ok if you end up not skating. However, if the contest is full and you haven't registered, you're out of luck.

Special Award for the Top NYC Wildcard Skater Presented by Skullcandy

We're partnering with the Harold Hunter Foundation to take the top placing NYC local to the X Games.

Schedule

The schedule at every stop for The Boardr Am is the same. We run things on time and publish the Jams on @TheBoardr Insta and Twitter the night before. Get live scoring updates as the contest unfolds on The Boardr Live ™, our live and instant scoring app.

FRIDAY
- 12pm - 6pm: Registration, Practice, Check-In
- 5pm: Qualifiers Heats Posted (on website, Insta @TheBoardr, Twitter @TheBoardr)
- 6pm - Skate Industry 101 (private function, invite only)
  - An interactive panel for the NYC Wildcard skaters
  - Location: City Lore on 1st Street between 1st and 2nd Avenue
SATURDAY
- 9am - 11am: Registration, Practice, Check-In
- 11am: Qualifiers in Jam Format
  - Three skater jams, three minutes each
  - Top 18 make the cut to the Semi-Finals
- 3pm: Semi-Finals in Jam Format
  - Three skater jams, three minutes each
  - Top six make the cut to the Finals
- 4pm: Finals in Runs Format
  - Three, one minute runs, best counts
- 5pm: Awards
  - Winner gets all expenses paid to compete in The Boardr Am Series Finals at X Games Austin
- Best Trick is open to everyone on Sunday at Harold Hunter Day

- Rain Day
