Korea with Mark Gonzales

Behold! Mark Gonzales! I got to take a trip with Mark to Seoul, South Korea. It was the first time for both of us. Rolling with Mark through a city is just what you think it would be...spontaneous, fun, and playful. Mark lives in the moment and does what he wants. But he's also ready to get down to business when it's time to work. The media really showed up for the opening of the Mark Gonzaels pop-up store.

We’re back with another Global Rankings update after a bunch of contests like GFL, Far n High, X Games, CASL, and Best Foot Forward went down this weekend. New to the reports is a 30 Day Change column showing how you’ve moved up or down in the last month.

Coppertail Open

The rain chased us inside, but inside was Coppertail Brewery, so all good. Out back was a loading dock, so we had a nice game of SKATE while sipping sauce. Thanks to everyone that came out for another fun one this year.

We returned to LES for The Boardr Open, an annual open street contest with a Men's and Women's division. The next day, we helped with Harold Hunter Day and celebrated the life of the legend. Chaz has some photos below to recap.

Years ago, we stopped putting the dates and schedule out to the public to help reduce the insane crowd size, which is too much for these intimate venues and street spots where it all goes down. Of course that doesn't work to well at the best skateboarding shindig in the history of skateboarding. Hope you had as good of a time as we did.
