This week in the sands of Huntington Beach is the Van Doren Invitational featuring this insane bowl that will host three events. In just one month, there's also the Copenhagen Bowl Jam over there on that side of the earth that you'll also find us at. I hope you're at both or at least enjoying the broadcasts. This week at Huntington Beach looks like this:
Women's Results
Lizzie Armanto stepped it up in the Finals to take 1st Place and $5,000 today. Watch for her in China at the Summer Youth Olympic Games where Ryan Clements will be announcing some skateboarding demos for the IOC. Is our April Fools Joke coming true? We'll see. This Friday is the main event at Van Doren Invitational with the whole thing live on the web.
Shop Battle Results
Congrats to Alex Brunelle for the highest score of the day in the Shop Battle today. He took home $1,000 for that and got up from a beating to make that clean. Val Surf took first and $3,000 while Active came in 2nd with $2,000.
