The Road to Houston in The Boardr Bus

We've got a nice mix of nerds, media types, microphone personality, shredders, bid'niss dudes, and workhorses. One thing we all have in common: we're all skateboarders. And now after Jorge played it, we all have hate for this Beck dude in common. Whatever Beck is, he/she/it sucks. Anyway, it's been a damn good time. Along the way, we hit some tiny towns, large towns, and medium towns. I've got a few photos from our adventure to Houston. We're here for the second stop of The Boardr Am. Check out the list of who is skating in the Qualifiers here.

Early morning on site at The Boardr Headquarters in Tampa, we're putting together a quick kickoff clip for Insta.
Our first stop is somewhere in North Florida at a tiny town with an odd skateboard statue.
The town is Milton and they're getting in Joe's b-roll.
I did a cartwheel while shooting this sequence of 540 Jake. We're both spinnin out of control.
Casey drives barefoot and skates barefoot, at least at stops like this one in the sticks.
Now it's off into the sunset headed west.
We have arrived in Nawlins.
The homes have style here.
On the corner of Paris and Pleasure is one fine DIY skateboarding project.
You know there are old skateboarders participating in the DIY work when there's a mini-ramp at the spot.
Parking blocks are everywhere, good and greased up, including wacky ones like this slappy snake.
We were immediately attracted to the super tight quarter. Body warms up with a front rock on it.
Watch for Joe's work to show up on ABC's World of X as he puts together a one hour show about all six stops of The Boardr Am leading up to The Boardr Am Finals at X Games Austin.
The stuff under this bridge goes on forever it seems.
There seems to be a nice sense of community here.

We met Parisite local Ty skating here who happens to be skating The Boardr Am at Houston. See you there, Ty!
We packed up and hit the road and are now at the Baton Rouge Banks where we expected 540 Jake to, well, 540 it. You don't get much time here. Frontside ollies to start.
Thick Kid Rock filmed it from the sidelines and has to show us all how awesome it is.
Get back in the bus, boys, let's go to Houston. See you at Southside for the second stop of The Boardr Am.

A Florida Road Trip to the East Coast

This past weekend, Porpe, Clem, and I took a road trip to the East Coast of Florida to bring Sean Malto, Matt Miller, Brad Cromer, and Steve-O to surprise our friend Jacob at his bar mitzvah. We skated, hung out at the party, and got some other business done while we were in town. Thanks Jacob and family for having us as part of your weekend. We had a great time. Maybe The Boardr should start doing celebrity birthday parties, too? I've got a camera dump here.

Jon wins a personal red carpet laid out by Porpe for The Boardr Am Finals at X Games Austin. Porpe will be taking care of his flight, hotel, local travel, chow downs, and might even give him a foot massage. Yep, Jon gets all expenses paid for destroying it today at Stoner Skate Plaza. Views From the Road Crew From Rye to Cleveland

After the Rye, New Hampshire stop for the Hot Wheels Junior Series, the Road Crew took it to Cleveland for another project there involving setup for a movie scene that required a skateboarding event. Staff Photographer Chaz Miley has some views from the trip.
