Based on the intro and what you've seen from Asphalt Yacht Club so far (and the party city), you might have thought this entire Miami video would be popping bottles instead of ollies, but get past that first 15 seconds and slow mo ASSphalt and it's straight to ripping from Stevie Williams, Stefan, Nyjah, and more, all dominated by Riley Hawk. What a crew. Ripping skating has had a good track record of silencing sideline skateboard critics. We'll see if it works for AYC. I for sure can't hate.

The entire AYC and Baker crew were at Riley's birthday party where they surprised him with is pro model and also awarded him The Skateboard Mag's Year's Best Am. How many father and so pro duos do we now have in skateboarding?

Riley Hawk's Cartoon Splat

I don't watch these Thrasher Hall of Meat videos because I can't watch how gnar some of them are, but this one i had to check just based on the thumbnail. Riley Hawk has full cartoon character splat on this long smith grind to vertical face plant. It's not bad at all and good for a laugh.
Taylor Smith's Shep Dawgs Part

Shep Dawgs Volume 4 is being slow dripped by Thrasher all week and first part out is Taylor Smith after you get throught he nut sacking intros. Taylor starts his part with one to the balls followed by straight ripping. That frontside half cab flip to frontside noseslide out to fakie at the end of that ledge line was so damn good. Looking forward to the rest of the parts.

The Pro Mind of Marius

I first met Marius back in 2002 at Make-A-Wish in Texas where he was turning heads as a ripping little kid. I shot the crooked grind photo of him below. He's been coming to events we've run for the last decade continuing to kill it and now he's officially pro. Thrasher's got his full part here. Congrats, Marius!
