Now, every time I see footage of Yonnie, I'm expecting something indoors. He comes through with more ripping in the new GX1000 along with Jake Johnson, Antoine Asselin, Brian Delatorre, Phil Lajuenesse, Charles Rivaro, and Alexis Lacroix wrapping it up with a scary manny to 5-0 on a round rail and a ski jump wallie.

He's been running a YouTube show called The Amazing Richie Jackson Skateboard Show that's pretty damn funny if you get past your likely initial rolling of the eyes. This one about the hated varial flip by skateboard elitists is pretty funny.

HiDefJoe has Yonnie Cruz on The Boardr in our new feature where he discusses the GX edits and where it's going, what it was like filming for his Static IV part, and more. I first met Yonnie in 2002 when he was just starting to get good at skating and was beyond stoked on every new thing he learned from basic kickflips to bomb drops off the ramp decks. That outgoing, excitable personality remains through today where it's nice to see matched with great style in skateboarding.
