A BBQ at the Dream Driveway

While everyone's in town for Tampa Am, we have a little gathering at the Dream Driveway where we BBQ and shred. Thanks to everyone who stopped by and good luck to everyone skating this weekend in the contest. I've got a few photos and HiDefJoe has the video recap.

Most of the skating seemed to go down at the top of the driveway where the good flat ground is. Yonis here with a nollie back heel over the OC bench.

Casey just joined The Boardr staff full time to help with all these events we have stacked for 2015, including The Boardr Am that you can register for now.

Skateboarding has really progressed when bonelesses onto ledges are now accepted.
Tyson Bowerbank wants us to take The Boardr Am to Utah. We'll see if the Salt Flats work out for that.

A Dream Driveway Session With Locals

The long and downhill slope to Ryan's front doorstep is a driveway lined with skate stuff that we started referring to as the Dream Driveway. Yesterday there was a session with a few Tampa locals where I pointed digital devices to capture these images.

Today was a bit of prep work for a new addition to the Dream Driveway. It's simply moving rocks and dirt from point a to point b for now, like a bunch of worker ants.
BINGO at The Boardr, The Dekline Premiere, and Tampa's Big Weekend

While much of the industry is in town, we had a few things of our own going on including an industry game of SKATE we called BINGO at The Boardr. We also showed the Dekline True Blue video and watched some of Tampa Am, too. I've got a few photos from all that and HiDefJoe has the video recap.

HiDefJoe and all of us at The Boardr watched Tampa Am in our hometown this weekend. It was nice to watch without having any work to do. Joe did point his lens a bit, though. Check out some of the ripping skateboarding that went down and how Jagger ended up winning it. Congrats again, Jagger!

We can't make this a wide open public event since it's Ryan's house, but we do have a few select people over during the big Tampa Am weekend to kick it off with some food, drink, and shred at the #DreamDriveway. This year, we put up some of Jorge's year end bonus money for certain tricks, the biggest being $500 for a no grab ollie over the whole quarterpipe. It was handled! Wow, thanks everyone in town for stopping by.
