adidas Skate Copa Northeast Regionals at New York

adidas Skate Copa is an international shop vs shop team contest where the winning shops from each stop are flown to the Global Finals.

This is the second year of adidas Skate Copa, a Shop vs Shop battle with the Finals in Los Angeles. Save the date and we'll see you there! Your local adidas rep will be in contact with your shop to get you setup for the Contest.

Location

LES Skatepark, 62 Pike Street, New York, New York 10002

Format and Schedule

  • Friday
    • 2pm – 5pm – Registration and Practice
  • Saturday
    • 9am – Registration and Practice
    • 12pm – Qualifiers
      • Shop team vs Shop team
      • Four skaters maximum on each team
        • One team member can be a pro. The pro must be on your team roster
        • An additional owner/shop manager is permitted to skate for a total of five skaters on your team. Owner/shop manager must be 30+
        • No alternates
      • Five minute jams with all skaters from your team
      • Each skater scored individually
      • Top three skaters' scores on team count for overall Shop score
      • Top eight teams advance to Finals
    • 3:30pm – Finals
      • Head to Head single elimination jam brackets
      • Same format
    • Awards
    • 5pm – Boost the Bar Best Trick
      • $500 cash purse
      • Open to everyone on site, not just contestants
    • 8pm - After-Party
      • Process, The Photography of Sem Rubio
      • SOHO Arts Club 76 Wooster Street New York, NY 10012

Prize Purse

  • 1st Place Team - $750 - all expense paid trip for five to the Finals in Los Angeles
  • 2nd Place Team - $500
  • 3rd Place Team - $250
  • Special Prizes - three at $250 each
