So this amazing skateboarding history shindig went down last year called Innoskate in Washington, DC. This year, it's in our own backyard in Florida! This Saturday, Rodney Mullen will be in Lakeland with us at Polk Museum of Art's Innoskate 2014.Other special guests include Florida pros Mike Frazier and Elissa Steamer. Key industry dudes like Professor Schmitt and Josh Friedberg will also be there. Check the full list here.

In a nustshell, the schedule is:

  • Friday night 6pm to 10pm: Bands, open skating, Team Pain obstacles, and food trucks in the Polk Museum of Art parking lot.
  • Saturday morning: Sessions, a Best Trick Contest, and panels with Frazier, Elissa, and Schmitt.
  • Saturday at noon: push through the streets from Lakeland Skatepark to Polk Museum of Art for more parking lot ripping and Rodney Mullen chill time.
  • Full detailed schedule here.
  • See you there and watch for another episode of On The Boardr on The Ride Channel.

Thanks to the museum for making The Boardr sound way legit with this statement about us: "With a client list that includes ESPN, adidas and Zappos and an event list that spans all of North America, Africa, China and Europe, The Boardr is a global leader in providing authentic, entertaining and innovative skate events."

We're psyched to be a part of this!
