One time back in the day when Thrasher did an interview with Gonz and asked him who his favorite skater was, he said Jason Rothmeyer. When you've been around skateboarding as both a professional skateboarder and working in the industry for this long, the stories like that are endless. We've been working with Jason Rothmeyer on planning and organizing skateboaring events for more than a decade now, where he has been the lead judge and chief critic of everything behind the scenes. We are looking forward to the next decade of projects in skateboarding with Jason. Speaking of decades, let's go back a couple to his Santa Cruz Perfect World part. Grown Up Campers at Woodward East

Ryan Clements and I spent just over 24 hours at Woodward Camp in the hills of Pennsylvania to re-visit this happy land that we haven't been to in about a decade. It went from awesome to mindblowing amazing in that time. From tons of new skate stuff to the addition of a Digital Media Camp for future filmers and photographers, it's off the charts for a good time combined with learning real skills you'll use for your whole life. I wish I could go there and start Code Camp. Thanks Gary Ream and the Woodward staff for having us. I've got two minutes of the experience as seen from my cell phone plus a few photos.

It's been 25 years since Mike Vallely's Barnyard board on World Industries was released. I was lucky enough to be skating at the time. It was the first board that had a full size nose nearly as big as the tail and the one that blazed the trail to the modern board shape of the 90's that still is the staple 20 years later today...

Bob Reynolds just turned 40 and as goes what seems to be a damn good trend these days, has filmed a part to release for his birthday. Damn, Bob! Happy Birthday! You can find Bob on the judging staff at events The Boardr hosts. The feeling of getting old really is just a bad attitude towards a silly number measurement, right? You're in control of that bad attitude and can change it. Keep rolling no matter what your stupid number is.
