Gonz recently became a client of Excel Management, Ryan Clements' firm that manages all those important financial things in your life that no one enjoys tending to. When Mark told Ryan he was sending a Christmas gift, we never expected a gem like this to arrive. This doesn't even resemble any other work I've seen Mark do. He signed the back of it with "the smile girl relative." What do you think that means? Thanks for the piece that will make a nice addition to the walls at The Boardr Headquarters.

Here are Ryan's words on it:

We had already received a really nice gift from Mark and his fiancé, Tia, at the office, so when I got home and saw there was another package from them I was thinking, Wow, what else could they possibly do? I opened it, and of course I was surprised because I’m not some art expert or anything, so I expected something that looks like a Krooked graphic as soon as I realized I was opening up a painting. I sent a pic of it to my friend Nick and he was like, “Wow, he signed the back? This is very rare. You should be stoked.” I mean, I was beyond stoked already, but it’s cool to hear when others are stoked, too. Here I am, not only working with one of the most influential skateboarders of all time, but the dude sends me a painting for Christmas? I’m floored and I trip on it each and every time I look at it. I don’t think hanging it in my new office at HQ is even worthy…
