At any party in Tampa around the holidays, you can find a Florida transplant back in town. Usually it's from the west coast, but this time, it's Pat from NYC. I can see how crusty and sort of bland most of Tampa is after just a few days in NYC. Pat must think this is straight vanilla city. Do we even have a hipster vegan restaurant in this town? Who cares, I'll take the Cuban with extra meats. Happy Birthday HiDefJoe. This is also Steve Buggica's place, too.
James, Josh, Cameron, and Uncle Sam. I think they all still work at that one place.
Yoda is a new Tampa resident all the way from Orlando. Orlando definitely out-vanillas Tampa.
Can you picture a fight breaking out over baby pool like in a legit bar and real pool table? I'd expect it to be just about the same except instead of punches thrown, it would be a full on slap fight like a bunch of mean girls.
There are no photos from the after-bar because I pulled the standard Houdini act before the van filled with ruckus and went to Ybor. Thanks for the invite, ya'll. Have a good ride and good night.

A Dream Driveway Session With Locals

The long and downhill slope to Ryan's front doorstep is a driveway lined with skate stuff that we started referring to as the Dream Driveway. Yesterday there was a session with a few Tampa locals where I pointed digital devices to capture these images.
