There aren't many events out there that remind me of how we used to run Tampa Pro. Copenhagen Pro is one of those. It's just loose and chill with ripping skating, raging nightlife, and big smile hospitality. I've got a bunch of photos and sequences as usual.

We're in Copenhagen once a year when the skateboarding world comes together at Copenhagen Pro. As you've seen from all the coverage, it's a great city with everything you need as a pusher of the wood and wheels: great skate spots, happy ass people, nightlife that lasts through noon the next day, and more. Get a sample of street shred going on outside of that party week from Hjalte Halberg, Jonas Skrøder, Laurent Gehin, Emil Hvilsom, and more in this Kingpin video they just put out. I'm still not convinced it's the last year of Copenhagen Pro. More on that later.

Clements and Porpe went to Roskilde to host and announce some vert demos. The scene at Roskilde is quite a circus of European psycho. Take a glimpse into that Porpe Life here on another episode of On The Boardr along with some great photos from Neal Hendrix and Porpe Life himself.

You know the fine folks that have been doing the skateboard shindig in Copenhagen for the past seven years? Year after year, many of your favorite pros refer to that as one of the best pro contests of the year. We certainly think the same. This year, they're changing it up a bit. It's the CPH Bowl and will be held in a new transition structure built inside the Copenhagen Skatepark. The dates have just been set for August 28 - 31. We'll have more details soon. For now, here's the basic schedule.

The Finals at Copenhagen Pro are always some of the best skating you'll see all year. The mix of skaters that come to this contest is so diverse and unlike any other contest, which is why we started referring to it as the Tampa Pro of Europe years ago. I hope you where here, but if not, I've got a cell phone edit and photos for you.

I was just going to write a one liner and post Brad McClain's new part, but then it turned into a fashion rant as I saw that he was wearing pants in most of this part. Bowl/tranny dudes that rip but always wear shorts just look questionable at best. The list of people who can get away with shorts in general is, well, short.
