HiDefJoe and I went back home for a few days while Jorge and Ryan stayed in Austin all week. We're all back together now in Austin for adidas Skate Copa tomorrow at House Park. While here, Joe's on street filming missing with Jereme Knibbs while the rest of us hold it down at the park and work in between. I've got a camera dump for you, of course.

Pflugerville Skate Park is about 20 minutes outside of Austin. It's a weird one.
It's so big with so much land here I think they just started making up wacky things to fill the space.

adidas Skate Copa Austin and Nike SB's London Am

The Boardr Live, our app that handles registration, billing, scoring, and all that number crunching stuff for your skateboard shindig, is behind two events this weekend. Nike SB is using it to run the first stop of their am series in London this weekend while we're using it to run adidas Skate Copa in Austin. The crew in London is using it for the first time, so they opted not to have live results published, but for adidas Skate Copa, you can follow along on your phone here or with the on-site monitors that display the leaderboard and most recent event progress. HiDefJoe comes in with another episode of On The Boardr documenting the shred here at X Games Austin. I've got a few skate photos, and Porpe runs the nightlife at the Monster party where Joey Badass did a small private show that I didn't know about prior to making my decision to stay in. Stupid. Moral of the story kids: always go out and party. You never know what you're going to miss.

This past weekend I was in Austin for 36 hours for the second stop of Transworld's Come Up Tour. I was surprised with how much I was able to do in Austin in the day and a half I was there.

I hope you caught all that on ESPN for the Street Finals for both men and women. It was a fun and ripping afternoon of skateboarding here in Austin, Texas. After Grant Taylor skipped town and gave up his spot in the cut to Alec Majerus who had just missed it yesterday, I was certain he was going to take it today. Then Nyjah came with new tricks and of course his usual bag of destruction. Get the full week's results here. Congrats Nyjah, Lacey, and Pedro for gold in Street and Park this year.
