Empire and The Boardr have partnered up to bring back Canada's top am skateboarding skateboarding Contest. It's September 12 - 14, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. This one's in Montreal at Le Taz, that place with the super good DIY in the back. Check the street course and more info below, including Empire's always raging nightlife and daylife shindigs associated with the event. Cue the Canada jokes, eh, the entire crew from The Boardr will see you there. Oh, and recarding the "Paid" part, the purse at this one is $20k!

2013: Announcing The Boardr
Last year at La Taz during Empire Backyard Party, it was just a few days prior to us announcing our new company, The Boardr. It was the first event we used The Board Live at and also the first time I heard Ryan on the mic say, "This is Ryan Clements from The Boardr." That felt crazy. We're hyped to be going back to run a ripping am Contest with Empire.
2006: Brandon Westgate at Am Getting Paid
I remember Am Getting Paid back when we first started going in the mid-2000's. It was one of the first times I got to see Brandon Westgate skate in person. His dipped back smiths are just as recognizable today.
