Crew Battle Schedule

• Thursday, August 6 - Practice
  • 11:30am - 1pm
• Friday, August 7 - Practice
  • 2:30pm - 9pm
• Saturday, August 8 - Contest
  • 12:45pm: Warm-ups
  • 1pm: Contest

Crew Battle Format

• 4 invited crews
• Minimum of 3 skaters, maximum of 5
• Each crew chooses their music
• Qualifiers
  • Crews compete head to head
  • Each crew gets a 5 min jam
  • Top 2 crews advance to Super Final
  • Bottom 2 crews fight it out for 3rd Place
• 3rd Place Battle: 10 min jam
• Super Final: 10 min jam

Crew Battle Judging/Scoring

• Each crew will receive a score based on overall impression of all skating combined
  • Judging Criteria
    • Not the classic technical scoring
    • Judges will be looking for
      • Battle energy
      • Impact and crowd takeover
      • Control
      • Flow and style
      • Originality
      • Reply factor (Yep, one-upping)

Purse: $5,000

1st: $2,000, 2nd: $1,500, 3rd: $1,000, 4th: $500
