The Boardr Series is a national, all ages and skills skateboarding contest series that is designed to provide a fun and fulfilling skateboarding experience for all participants.
About The Boardr Series
The Boardr Series, recently renamed from GFL Series, is a national, all ages and skills skateboarding contest series that is designed to provide a fun and fulfilling skateboarding experience for all participants. A portion of the entry fees benefit the Grind for Life non-profit organization.
- Series Championships
- Held annually in December at The Boardr HQ in Tampa
- Points are double at the Championships
- Series Awards in Street
- Top skater in each Street Division is awarded
- Your top three placings in events for the year determine your place in the Awards

Friday, Best Trick: Anchor Skate Supply, 501 16th Street South, St. Petersburg, Florida
Saturday, Contest: St Petersburg Skatepark, 600 12th Street South, St Petersburg, Florida
Waiver Required
If you don't already have one on file with us, sign your waiver ahead of time here, or get your parent or legal guardian to if you're under 18.
Pre-Registration Online is Required
All registration must be done online here. Registration is $50 per Division plus Florida Sales Tax where applicable.
If you’ve never entered one of our events (GFL, Boardr Open, Boardr Series, etc), your first one is free! Signup here for that.
Stop by The Boardr tent on site to check in, verify your spot, and get a new headshot. Refunds are completely okay if you can't make it. Email Help@TheBoardr.com for a refund.

We will be running this schedule as close to on time as possible. Please arrive on time to not miss your Division. Unfortunately, adjustments cannot be made.
Friday, February 14 at Anchor Skate Supply:
- 6:30pm: Free and open to anyone
- Mini-Ramp cash for tricks - $250
- Free pizza and drinks!
- 8am: Practice
- 10am: Contest
- Womens Street
- Mens Street 8 & Under
- Mens Street 9 - 12
- Mens Street 13 & Up
- Street Open Qualifiers
- Top 3 advance to Finals
- Street Open Finals
- 1st $250, 2nd $150, 3rd $100
- 1pm: Street Awards, staff lunch break, GFL Raffle
- 1:30pm: Contest
- Womens Bowl
- Mens Bowl 12 & Under
- Mens Bowl 13 & Up
- Bowl Open
- 3pm: Bowl Awards
Format
- Street Jams format events: 3 skaters per jam, 3 minutes per jam. Judged on overall impression.
- Bowl Jams format events: 8 skaters per jam, 3 runs at 30 seconds each, skate in order until you fall. Judged on overall impression.
