About The Boardr Series (Formerly GFL Series)

The Boardr Series, recently renamed from GFL Series, is a national, all ages and skills skateboarding contest series that is designed to provide a fun and fulfilling skateboarding experience for all participants. A portion of the entry fees benefit the Grind for Life non-profit organization.

  • Held annually in December at The Boardr HQ in Tampa
  • Points are double at the Championships
• Series Awards
  • Top skater in each Division is awarded
  • Your top three placings in events for the year determine your place in the Awards

Everyone must sign this waiver. If you're under 18, it must be signed by a parent or guardian.

Your parent or guardian can complete this SK8 Charleston waiver online ahead of time, or they can handle it on site, but they must be present with you.

Once we reach 175 entrants, registration will be closed. We simply don't have the capacity to allow more entries than 175. Please sign up now to avoid missing the contest.

All registration must be done online here. Registration is $50 per Division plus Florida Sales Tax where applicable.

If you’ve never entered one of our events (GFL, Boardr Open, Boardr Series, etc), your first one is free! Signup here for that.

Stop by The Boardr tent on site to check in, verify your spot, and get a new headshot. Refunds are completely okay if you can't make it. Email Help@TheBoardr.com for a refund.

  • 8am: Practice
  • 10am: Contest

      • Top 3 advance to Finals

  • 1:30pm: Contest
    • Womens Bowl

  • 3pm: Bowl Awards

  Format

  • Street Jams format events: 3 skaters per jam, 3 minutes per jam. Judged on overall impression.
  • Bowl Jams format events: 8 skaters per jam, 3 runs at 30 seconds each, skate in order until you fall. Judged on overall impression.
