Mano A Mano: A Woodward Mini-Ramp Game of SKATE

About

Mano A Mano brings 32 of the world’s best men and women transition skaters together to compete head-to-head in games of S.K.A.T.E on the iconic mini-ramp at Woodward West. It’s been relayered with the new non-slip Skatelite Traxion surfacing.

Mano A Mano is a private, spectator-free event with a low-pressure atmosphere that focuses on allowing skaters to have fun and be creative.

Videos will be released on the Woodward YouTube channel following the event.

• Monday, April 24th: Arrive at Woodward (not mandatory)
  • We can accommodate if you prefer to arrive on Monday

    • Open session at Woodward
    • Check-in, register for the Contest, and get your room key at the front gate
    • Skater interviews

    • Best Trick on obstacles TBD
  • 6pm: Riders' Meeting at Mini-Ramp at the Hangar

Rules

• Roshambo to determine who goes first
• Names drawn from a hat will create initial match-ups
• Offense will alternate regardless of make or bail
• Make, bail, or re-do is at the discretion of the head judge
• Last letter gets two attempts

$42,500 Purse

$2,500 cash for tricks.

$20,000 each for Men and Women.

• First Round, 8 spots, $1,000 each.
• Second Round, 4 spots, $1,200 each.
• Third Round, 2 spots, $1,200 each.
• Fourth Round (2nd Place), 1 spot, $1,800.
• Winner, 1 spot, $3,000.
