Judging Criteria
- Performance is judged on overall impression of rider in each individual run
- Judges analyze the following elements when scoring:
- Difficulty, commitment, creativity, and use of entire course and features
- Distance traveled while performing various tricks
- Speed, style, flow, and power
- Consistent lines carry weight, but innovation and difficulty are also rewarded
- Timing
- Starts when the rider is in motion to perform their first trick
- Ends upon time designated in format
- If a rider is in motion to perform a trick when time is up, that attempt will count if the trick has been initiated
The Course
Our approach is to design and build a diverse, modern, and challenging street course out of both concrete and wood. It will flow consistently by combining unique transition obstacles alongside iconic street spots from LA. The course will feature Hollywood High's 12 stair rail.Building replicas of iconic obstacles that standout as benchmarks will create opportunity for progression at the highest level of skateboarding.
