Tony Hawk Vert Alert Qualifiers and Semi-Finals

A vert contest for men and women with invited skaters and an open qualifier. The Open Qualifiers and Semi-Finals are in Vista, California and the Finals are in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Important Information
- This event is NOT open to the public. There are no spectators allowed.
- Skaters under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian on site at all times

Entry fee is $100USD.
Waiver
Everyone will be required to sign a waiver on site. If you're under 18, make sure you have a parent or legal guardian with you to sign and remain in attendance with you the entire time.

- 45 seconds max
- Organized, in order, one at a time
- Skate until you fall
- Top 4 advance to Semi-Finals
- Format
- 10:30am: Men’s Open Qualifiers Warm-ups
- 11:30am: Men’s Open Qualifiers
- Format: Same as Women’s
- 12:30pm: Women’s Semi-Finals Warm-ups
- 1:30pm: Women’s Semi-Finals
- Format
- 10 skater jams, 4 runs each
- Organized, in order, one at a time
- No time limit on runs
- Skate until you fall
- Top 8 advance to Finals
- Format
- 2:30pm: Men’s Semi-Finals Warm-ups
- 3:30pm: Men’s Semi-Finals
- Format: Same as Women’s

Judging Criteria
- Performance is judged on overall impression of skater in jam
- Judges analyze the following elements when scoring:
- Commitment, creativity, and use of entire ramp and features
- Distance traveled through air, slides, or grinds
- Speed, style, flow, and power
- Lines carry weight, but innovation and difficulty are rewarded
- Bails after a 30 second run is completed will not factor into the skater's score
The Course
This vert ramp will be in both Vista for the Qualifiers and Semi-Finals and Salt Lake City for the Finals.
