adidas Skate Copa Global Qualifiers at Sao Paulo

This is the second year of adidas Skate Copa, a Shop vs Shop battle with the Finals in Los Angeles. In 2015, it was expanded to a global series.

This is the second year of adidas Skate Copa, a Shop vs Shop battle, and now we’re taking it global. The Finals are in Los Angeles at The Berrics on September 19th. Save the date and we'll see you there! Your local adidas rep will be in contact with your shop to get you setup for the Contest.

Format and Schedule

  • Friday
    • 2pm – 5pm – Registration and Practice
  • Saturday
    • 9am – Registration and Practice
    • 12pm – Qualifiers
      • Shop team vs Shop team
      • Four skaters maximum on each team
        • One team member can be a pro. The pro must be on your team roster
        • An additional owner/shop manager is permitted to skate for a total of five skaters on your team. Owner/shop manager must be 30+
        • No alternates
      • Five minute jams with all skaters from your team
      • Each skater scored individually
      • Top three skaters' scores on team count for overall Shop score
      • Top eight teams advance to Finals
    • 3:30pm – Finals
      • Head to Head single elimination jam brackets
      • Same format
    • Awards
    • 5pm – Boost the Bar Best Trick
      • 1st Place wins a trip to adidas Skate Copa Global Finals at The Berrics in Los Angeles
      • adidas Prize Packs for 2nd - 5th
      • Open to all amateur skaters

Prize Purse

  • 1st Place Team - R$2,000 - all expense paid trip for five to the Finals in Los Angeles
  • 2nd Place Team - R$1,250
  • 3rd Place Team - R$750
  • Special Prizes - three at R$500 each
