Dew Tour Los Angeles

It's our second year helping organize the skateboarding events at Dew Tour. For 2015, new stops are Chicago and Los Angeles.

Location

Vert and Street are at the Ace Hotel, Downtown Los Angeles, 929 South Broadway. Streetstyle is on the corner of West First Street and Broadway.

Schedule

Thursday

1pm - 7pm: Street Practice
1pm - 7pm: Vert Practice, 1pm Riders' Meeting

Friday

1pm - 7pm: Street Practice, 6pm Riders' Meeting
2pm - 3:45pm: Vert Practice
4pm - 5pm: Vert Contest
- 12 skaters, 1 heat
- 3 runs, 30 seconds each, best run counts

Saturday

11am - 3pm: Streetstyle Practice, 2pm Riders' Meeting
12pm - 2pm: Shop Battle Winners Session on the Street Course
2pm - 3:45pm: Street Practice
4pm - 5:30pm: Street Contest
- 15 skaters
- 3 Zones on the course
- 3 heats of 5 skaters skate Zone 1 and 2, one skater at a time
- 7 minutes per heat
- Top 6 skaters advance to Zone 3
- 8 minutes for the single heat
- Score from Zone 3 averaged with Zone 1 and 2 score to determine the winner

Sunday

11am - 12:45pm: Streetstyle Practice
1pm - 3pm: Streetstyle Contest
- 16 skaters
- 3 runs, best run counts

Toyota Athlete of the Year Award

Judges pick two skaters at each Dew Tour stop to be nominated for the Toyota Athlete of the Year Award. Voting for the $25,000 prize happens at the end of all the stops.
