For most of us, it takes nearly 40 hours to get here with a layover in Johannesburg before a prop plane takes you to Kimberley. These happy cooks were serving up some bangin' BBQ at our Johannesburg stop.
CA RampWorks is putting together the last pieces of the Big Air Ramp.
The locals are tearing it up out there. It seems like there's lots more little kid skaters this year. Watch for coverage all weekend long.

The live webcast starts below at 10:30am Eastern time on Saturday. I've got a few photos from today plus the full list of Jams in the South African Am Street and Kimberley Diamond Cup Street Qualifiers. Also included are the heats in the Vert Contest that had to be moved to Saturday due to high winds. It's going to be a ripping day of top quality skateboarding on Saturday in South Africa.

We just returned from a quick dinner where Vert/Big Air Overall Winner Andy MacDonald picked up the tab as a courtesy cut from his $60,000 first place prize. On Sunday, the live webcast of the Finals starts at 10am Eastern time right here.
