It''s a fine line between cruisers and longboards. We will let you discuss that among yourselves. Here, we''ve got the big softies you need to equip your casual pusher properly.
We've been skating for a long time here at The Boardr, so we find it hard to believe that some kids don't even realize shapes are old school, not a new thing started by Welcome Skateboards. Crazy shapes came first, then evolved to the classic popsicle stick, and now we're all in love with shapes again like a high school reunion.
Some of the earliest skateboarders are getting a little old, us included, and we love our throwback old school stuff. Check the 'Reissue Boards' category for decks. In this group, we have all the other throwback stuff like classic graphics and other skate stuff that will make you feel like a kid again despite what your knees are telling you.
In the early days of skateboarding t-shirt design, it was common for t-shirt graphics to be on the back, with a small hit on the front pocket space. As the golden era of skateboarding began in the early 90's, literally every single t-shirt made had the graphic on the front. These days, the graphic on the back is starting to make a comeback, pun and all.
Shorts are like the nickname of pants. Some people can run a good nickname and it's not weird at all. Other people you try to stick a nickname to and it just doesn't feel right. Take your approach to wearing shorts while skating with this caution. I still never wear shorts while skating, but for the chill out tent, shorts are mandatory. That's why we got these.
Skateboarding and artists have always had crossover, both being obvious art forms. This spills over into many brands and products we carry designed by artists we're proud to back here at The Boardr. Have a look and support some of the best and most creative people in skateboarding.
Why are these called trucker hats? Do truckers sweat through the head more than your average cut of society? Nope, I think we need to take this one over and officially change the mesh top lid to being called a skater hat. For as long as the three decades we've been around in skateboarding, these hats have always been around.
Reissue boards are not just remakes and reissues of old shapes and graphics, they're reissues of your youth, skateboarding being the fountain of that youth. Go straight back to childhood with our selection of reissue boards that seem to be flying off the shelves of every skate shop out there now that nostalgia is at an all time high with so many 40 year old plus skateboarders out there.
Cruiser boards usually vary in shape from traditional street boards and can vary widely in width, but generally are shorter than about 34 inches. Cruiser completes come with softer wheels, too. Softer wheels are an easier ride. Cruiser boards are generally not for doing tricks. They're transportation like longboards, but don't have the uncool factor that longboards got stuck with from the street skaters.
