Genesis Delagarza has the backtail to fakie on the small rail. He hasn't had a Check Out in Transworld and was able to squeeze into the Finals. Related Post: Transworld CUT in Austin, Texas
The six panel hat is a classic and still holds strong today even though five panel hats are more common. Who would have ever thought the six panel would have been dethroned as the champ of headwear that had a good solid two decade run in skateboarding?
Why are these called trucker hats? Do truckers sweat through the head more than your average cut of society? Nope, I think we need to take this one over and officially change the mesh top lid to being called a skater hat. For as long as the three decades we've been around in skateboarding, these hats have always been around.
Isn't it funny how the mainstream always has a beanie in mind when they think of the classic skateboarder stereotype? The beanie is here to stay in skateboarding as we've been running them since the dawn on skateboard time. These days, they're getting a little crazy with pom poms and extra large graphics, too.
Cruiser boards usually vary in shape from traditional street boards and can vary widely in width, but generally are shorter than about 34 inches. Cruiser completes come with softer wheels, too. Softer wheels are an easier ride. Cruiser boards are generally not for doing tricks. They're transportation like longboards, but don't have the uncool factor that longboards got stuck with from the street skaters.
Shorts are like the nickname of pants. Some people can run a good nickname and it's not weird at all. Other people you try to stick a nickname to and it just doesn't feel right. Take your approach to wearing shorts while skating with this caution. I still never wear shorts while skating, but for the chill out tent, shorts are mandatory. That's why we got these.
Reissue boards are not just remakes and reissues of old shapes and graphics, they're reissues of your youth, skateboarding being the fountain of that youth. Go straight back to childhood with our selection of reissue boards that seem to be flying off the shelves of every skate shop out there now that nostalgia is at an all time high with so many 40 year old plus skateboarders out there.
