Isn't it funny how the mainstream always has a beanie in mind when they think of the classic skateboarder stereotype? The beanie is here to stay in skateboarding as we've been running them since the dawn on skateboard time. These days, they're getting a little crazy with pom poms and extra large graphics, too.
For a minute there, the Fedora was associated with one dude in skateboarding that did a lot of frontside 270's into things. These days, the Fedora is open game for those who want to rep something special on the dome. You got this. Combine with things in the Date Night category and you're killing the nightlife.
Do you remember when fitted hats and six panels got knocked off everyone's heads by the big five panel trend a few years ago? I think it was the early days of Odd Future and Tyler that really helped kick off the change in domepiece attire. These days, five panel hats still run strong.
Shorts are like the nickname of pants. Some people can run a good nickname and it's not weird at all. Other people you try to stick a nickname to and it just doesn't feel right. Take your approach to wearing shorts while skating with this caution. I still never wear shorts while skating, but for the chill out tent, shorts are mandatory. That's why we got these.
Sure, everyone says 'Support Skater Owned,' but one category we're backing hard is current and former pros that start their own companies. From Brian Anderson starting 3D to Ragdoll starting Hurt Life, keep backing these dudes until the wheels come off.
It's not just crusty skateboards at The Boardr Store. We have a good selection of things you need to stay looking clean and sharp. Combine with the 'Date Night' category and you're the local Dylan Rieder of your hometown.
The Boardr is a group of friends specializing in what we have loved since first sight: skateboarding.
