A Sample of Downtown Tampa Skate Spots

I recently downloaded this app called Skate Spots. It lets you log spots by automatically getting the map location for you while you add all the extras like a photo, the type of spot, the bust factor, and any notes you want. I tested it out in my neighborhood where I live in Downtown Tampa. I'm lucky that I can push out my front door and find all these skateboarding spots withing a few blocks of each other, especially with them all being such a wide variety of skill level and style. Notice how I don't count the Bro Bowl as a skate spot...

A bunch of these spots are right in my front yard. I love seeing that, and then add Markus killing it and it's good gravy on top.
It's All That is Those Tampa Locals

Pat Stiener opens it up with a part in It's All That. Following is a good crew of current Tampa locals like Aaron Austin and former ones like Kevin Coakley with the list going on all the way down to our filmer HiDefJoe whose travel belly is snapping his boards. Even Alex Donahue in there with a trick?!? I feel like I live in a big ol' real city when I see video parts filmed in all the blocks surrounding my downtown neighborhood. Thanks for finishing up this project, Frank Branca, as well as shredding in there yourself.

Frank has been a local filmer in Florida for as long as we can remember and one of the nicest dudes you'll ever meet. He recently completed a Film Reel with Ride that includes plenty of Tampa spots from the streets to the back yards. Frank's also going to be a dad real soon. Congrats in advance, Frank!
